Reads values from a Google Sheet by spreadsheet ID and range using the gws CLI tool. Supports row, column, or cell-range queries and is read-only, making it safe for fetching data without modification risk.

Generated from the current SKILL.md.

Does this skill modify the spreadsheet?
No. The skill is read-only and never modifies any data in the spreadsheet.
What authentication is required?
You must set up auth as described in the gws-shared skill, which handles Google Workspace credentials and security rules for the gws CLI.
What range formats does this support?
The skill accepts ranges in A1 notation, such as 'Sheet1!A1:B2' for a specific rectangle or 'Sheet1' to read an entire sheet.
Can I use advanced Google Sheets API options?
This skill wraps basic read functionality. For advanced options, you should use the raw values.get API directly.
