Execute Azure deployments for ALREADY-PREPARED applications that have existing .azure/deployment-plan.md and infrastructure files. DO NOT use this skill when the user asks to CREATE a new application — use azure-prepare instead. This skill runs azd up, azd deploy, terraform apply, and az deployment commands with built-in error recovery. Requires .azure/deployment-plan.md from azure-prepare and validated status from azure-validate. WHEN: "run azd up", "run azd deploy", "execute deployment", "push to production", "push to cloud", "go live", "ship it", "bicep deploy", "terraform apply", "publish to Azure", "launch on Azure". DO NOT USE WHEN: "create and deploy", "build and deploy", "create a new app", "set up infrastructure", "create and deploy to Azure using Terraform" — use azure-prepare for these.

Azure CLI Verification

az resource list --resource-group <rg-name> --output table

Health Check

curl -s https://<endpoint>/health | jq .

Container Apps

az containerapp revision list \
  --name <app-name> \
  --resource-group <rg-name> \
  --query "[].{name:name, active:properties.active}" \
  --output table

App Service

az webapp show \
  --name <app-name> \
  --resource-group <rg-name> \
  --query "{state:state, hostNames:hostNames}"

Report Results to User

⛔ MANDATORY — You MUST present the deployed endpoint URLs to the user in your response.

Extract endpoints using the appropriate command for the service type:

# Container Apps
FQDN=$(az containerapp show --name <app-name> --resource-group <rg-name> --query "properties.configuration.ingress.fqdn" -o tsv)
echo "https://$FQDN"

# App Service
HOSTNAME=$(az webapp show --name <app-name> --resource-group <rg-name> --query "defaultHostName" -o tsv)
echo "https://$HOSTNAME"

# Static Web Apps
HOSTNAME=$(az staticwebapp show --name <app-name> --resource-group <rg-name> --query "defaultHostname" -o tsv)
echo "https://$HOSTNAME"

PowerShell:

# Container Apps
$Fqdn = az containerapp show --name <app-name> --resource-group <rg-name> --query "properties.configuration.ingress.fqdn" -o tsv
Write-Output "https://$Fqdn"

# App Service
$Hostname = az webapp show --name <app-name> --resource-group <rg-name> --query "defaultHostName" -o tsv
Write-Output "https://$Hostname"

# Static Web Apps
$Hostname = az staticwebapp show --name <app-name> --resource-group <rg-name> --query "defaultHostname" -o tsv
Write-Output "https://$Hostname"

⚠️ These commands return bare hostnames without a scheme. Always prepend https:// when presenting URLs to the user. For example, report https://myapp.azurewebsites.net, never myapp.azurewebsites.net.

Present a summary including all service URLs as fully-qualified https:// links. Do NOT end your response without including them.

    This skill provides a robust framework for executing Azure deployments using various infrastructure-as-code tools. It includes several security considerations such as remote script installation and command execution, which are essential for its deployment functionality and are managed through strict prerequisite checks and user confirmation rules.
