Minto Pyramid Delta
Purpose: Saga pyramid decision-writing contract. SCQA, MECE, and answer-first structures are model-known.
Contract
- Open with the governing answer or recommendation, not the topic.
- Support it with
2-4parallel, non-overlapping arguments that collectively answer the decision. - Put evidence beneath the argument it proves; distinguish fact, inference, and assumption.
- Use SCQA only when it sharpens the decision context. Do not force a dramatic complication.
- End with the explicit decision, owner, timing, risks, and alternative.
Verification
- Reading only the title and top sentence of each section reconstructs the argument.
- Sibling headings use parallel grammar and the same level of abstraction.
- No evidence appears under multiple branches to simulate completeness.
- Counterevidence and material uncertainty are visible before the ask.
- The structure serves the audience's decision rather than displaying the framework.
Deliverable
Provide audience/decision, governing thought, optional SCQA, pyramid outline, evidence map, MECE exceptions, risks/alternatives, and decision ask. Use BAB only as an embedded customer illustration; use bab alone when the primary goal is conversion rather than analysis.
