Detects and fixes AI writing patterns including inflated significance claims, promotional language, vague attributions, em dash overuse, and superficial analyses. Use this skill when editing text to make it sound more human and natural, based on Wikipedia's "Signs of AI writing" guide.

Generated from the current SKILL.md.

Does this skill work with any language or just English?
The skill is designed for English text. It detects patterns based on Wikipedia's English-language AI writing guide and uses English-specific vocabulary markers and grammar patterns.
What text does this skill work best on?
It works on any prose — articles, documentation, blog posts, emails, reports. It's less useful for code, poetry, or highly technical writing where some patterns (like em dashes or passive voice) may be intentional.
Does this just remove AI patterns or does it also add personality?
Both. The skill removes 15+ AI-generation markers (overused words, vague attributions, rule of three, em dash overuse, etc.) and also coaches on adding human voice — varying sentence rhythm, using first person where appropriate, and injecting opinions and specific details.
Can the skill edit files in place or does it just suggest changes?
The skill has Write and Edit tool access, so it can read files, identify problematic passages, and rewrite them directly while preserving meaning and tone.
