External Folder Reference Configuration
Reference external folders and auto-check for updates during report generation
Overview
Monitor folders outside the workspace. Daily activity evidence collection is read-only; customer synchronization is a separate operation with mapping and dry-run gates.

Update Detection Rules
Diff Detection
- Check external file
LastWriteTime
- If newer than last check, read content
- Extract diff by section (
## {date} header delimiter)
- Append only new sections to workspace

Adding New Customer
To add a new customer folder:
- Add configuration to this file
- Create
Customers/{id}/ folder (if not exists)
- Run initial sync
Notes
- OneDrive sync: Files must be synced locally
- Path changes: Use environment variables if paths differ by user
- Large files: Binary files (PowerPoint, etc.) are reference only (no content extraction)
